CE  AND UKCA LABELLING

CE labelling is required for many products including soft toys.

• It shows that the manufacturer has checked that products meet EU safety, health or environmental requirements.
• It is an indicator of a product’s compliance with EU legislation.
• It allows the free movement of products within the European market.

By placing the CE marking on a product a manufacturer is declaring sole responsibility for ensuring that items conform with all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking.

Please make sure you have completed the CE self certification process before ordering.

From January 2021 new UK legislation will apply and the UKCA mark will be required for certain items. Please check current government guidance relating to your products.

HIGH QUALITY CE AND UKCA LABELS

The materials and methods we use have been developed and thoroughly tested by us over the last 20 years.

We source materials from the UK wherever possible. All of our label fabrics and inks have been independently tested for toxicity (EN71-3:2019). We can supply a certificate upon request.

CE AND UKCA LABEL PRODUCT INFORMATION

All of our labels are custom made to your requirements. We can add the CE and/or UKCA mark, relevant contact information, fabric content, care instructions and safety warnings.

We can also print sequential numbers if you need to add batch numbers for trace ability.

The majority of our customers opt for a white 15mm width label with black text and red safety warnings (if required). This produces a nice, crisp, clear label which is a good size for smaller items. However, we have a variety of fabric widths if you would prefer a larger label.
